Owing to its location in the midst of a rainforest and because the Center is located on the edge of a rainforest, it is well situated for a variety of educational, service learning and research uses. The Center provides facilities and support services to Texas A&M faculty, researchers, staff, and students. With its state-of-the-art technology and multi-use spaces, Texas A&M entities are able to utilize the Center's facilities for videoconferences, seminars, workshops, conferences, classes, exhibits, receptions, ceremonies, and any other type of program or event that supports the university's mission. The Center is also able to provide support services such as pre and upon-arrival orientation sessions, support for in-country coordination of Texas A&M study abroad and field trip programs as well as support for coordination of events/programs to be held at the Soltis Center.
The Soltis Center facilities are available for TAMU and Non-TAMU users to arrange the following activities but not limited to these:
- Spring or Fall Semester Courses
- Two Week Intensive Courses
- Short Courses
- Executive Development Courses
- Symposiums
- Corporate Retreats
- Environmental Touring Experiences
Please note that courses can also be tailored in a sequential manner, for instance four intensive courses for three weeks each instead of conventional semester long courses.

Once the Soltis Center Request Form is approved the Visitor Registration Form is to be filled by each of the program's participants.
