Current Activities

The Soltis Center will host and facilitate Semester Abroad Programs, such as the “Costa Rica Biomedical Sciences” program with the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University that is coordinated by Dr. Donald Brightsmith, who serves as a Global Faculty Advocate for the Center. For more information, please visit http://vetmed.tamu.edu/international-programs/study-abroad-courses/bims-costa-rica or contact Dr. Don Brightsmith directly at DBrightsmith[at]cvm.tamu.edu.

The Soltis Center also hosts other short-term academic programs from many different academic colleges. Program types can be identified through your local study abroad office or Education Abroad at Texas A&M University. In addition to this, non-credit student groups participate in service learning and leadership projects. Current and future events can be found using the Event Calendar, also available from the Home page.

The Soltis Center supports the university’s Global Engagement Plan.  Listen to this short explanation by International Advisory Board Chairman (IAB), Mr. Rey Spinelli.
